Beach Sand & Sun
This is it – my last week of work before our first official family vacation! My daughter’s Alexa and Lyla have finally reached an age where they’ll appreciate the warm, soft sand and turquoise waters of St. Thomas almost as much as Eric and I will.
I’m spending my free time this week packing and making sure we’re fully prepared for a week of fun in the sun. Of course I always take a TON of Dune Jewelry with me when I travel and I wanted to share some of my go-to pieces with all of you.
Currently, two of my favorite pieces are my charm holder necklace and teardrop lever back earrings. Each of these has a story that makes them very special to me. My charm holder necklace holds three Port O’ Call charms: one from where my husband proposed on Cape Cod, one from where we got married in Hull and one from where we honeymooned on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. I wear the charm holder on our 32” silver chain so I usually throw one or two “test” charms on there as well. Recently I’ve been wearing (and loving) our Hilton Head Island Silhouette design which is in development. The teardrop lever back earrings that I wear constantly are simply fun to wear and they hold sand from the Galapagos Islands where I aspire to visit someday.
I’ve also fallen madly in love with our Natural Sand Dollar Necklace. This is a whimsical design that has been in the works for about 6 months and I’m very happy to have it available. The response was so enthusiastic from our customers that we’ll be launching a petite version as well as a bangle VERY soon! Stay tuned for details.
